We went on a group tour with 8 others for a day tour of The Cape of Good Hope. The highlight of our day was walking around the Cape and up to the Lighthouse We ate at the Two Oceans Restaurant and had a wonderful, relaxing visit! The views were incredible and we can highly recommend visiting the area. We... More

Where in a major city can you experience one of the "New 7 Natural Wonders of Nature". Table Mountain is located in Cape Town, South Africa. Table Mountain is 600 million years old and believed to be older than the Himalayas. You can hike or take the Cable Car which rotates 360 degrees up to the top of the plateau.... More

We had a tour guide take us from our hotel to the Cape of Good Hope. On the way we stopped at seal island which was very neat to see as well. You take a boat over to the island and can see the hundreds of seals on the island and playing in the water. From there we headed to... More

It's worth dodging all the baboons along the way to see the spectacular views and where two oceans meet at the bottom of the world. My favorite sites were down below however, where there were "Penguins Crossing" signs and an official "Penguin Rescue" van. It was really fun to watch many groups of penguins playing and the beach and napping... More

It's definitely a special feeling to stand on the edge of a continent. Go early to miss the crowds, and take the time to go for a hike. We saw elands and ostriches from the trail and the views are great. Not much else to say other than you'll kick yourself if you're in Cape Town and don't make the... More

We took the funicular and as a wheelchair user I was treated with courtesy. The funicular cabin was easy to access and the short trip to the top was quick and comfortable. The pathways around the top are either cobbled or stones set in concrete. Well worth a little discomfort for the views over the mountains and coastline

Traveled here in 2012 and was amazed at the beauty of this place. Driving in felt like traveling to the edge of the world. sitting atop the rocks and looking to where the two oceans meet felt so amazing. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous. The power of the ocean was unbelievable. Watching the birds fly along the coast was very... More

A must see if you are near. Wildlife and a beautiful smell from the flora. The views are stunning and if you iare there in the late afternoon you see hundreds of cormorants flying home to roost.
