Convienent to everything, the trains are fantastic and cheap here!!! Fantastic shopping here!! City feel, alot of business people compared with other areas. Shibuya has a more younger feel, but still a place you have to see!!

Out of all the places we visited in Tokyo, Shinjuku really feels like the heart of it. Shinjuku station is huge and there are tons of shops, bars, cafes, and countless activities. The area also houses the Gyoen Gardens which are a beautiful break from the bustling city.
We stayed just outside the main area of Shinjuku in Yotsuya and...

Shinjuku is special, it offers a lot, great connection point, crossroad, administrative center, packed with people round the clock, nice skyline, tall buildings, great shopping area even for those with special taste and desire, red light district, shrines and parks, nice restaurants, music in the streets, huge crossroads that remind you of a catwalk at fashion show, well dressed people...

This is a quite area at night if you prefer good sleep night. If you don't, you will find restaurants, night clubs and other activities not too far away. Shinjuku Station is big and very busy, but you can go from there to anywhere in Tokyo. At the station there are three large departments stores if shopping in style is...

Sinjuku was my favorite place in Tokyo.İt was a good combination of Tokyoians. You can see all kind of people.Chic one, manga fans, casual one... etc.İt was good to had a coffee at Starbucks and watch and feel 'Lost in Translation'.
From all the fantastic places Tokyo has to offer definitively Shinjuku is the least attractive. Full of big buildings with millions of white collar guys rushing and nothing really interesting to look at, otherwise you are interested in Japanese architects where you will find some emblematic buildings, like Kenzo Tanges buildings. Try other places in Tokyo like Shibuya (lots of...

As with other big city Japanese stations, Shinjuku has mall, dining and shopping in abundance. The three Department stores , including Isotan a short walk away, are just wonderful and the staff so helpful. But not cheap as they offer a Global and Japanese selection of the finest goods.
Good place to stay in Tokyo..... Shops everywhere, good places to dine in---- nice place to walk around in at night as there are a lot of shops, dining places open until about 10 pm
This is a great part of Tokyo. Clean (like most of Japan!!), Friendly, Great Hotels, Bars and Food ...We loved this base during our time in this truly magnificient City!...I wish Melbourne was as safe and clean as Tokyo!
Nice district, especially in the evening, but avoid the extremely annoying touts trying to lure you in one of the clubs, just do not perceive them and ignore them totally.
