We've visited the lake at the end of May. Little tourists around still. Lake is absolutely beautiful. We couldn't walk all around because of small waterfalls from mountain feeding the lake with melting snow from the tops, but got about half way around. Imposing Bobotov Kuk peak with snow on in the background behind the lake. Stunning views and a... More

It's easy route around the lake, rely everyone can make this circle. We stayed in May so we were walking over the snow, and in that period it's not possible to all to make this circle because of the waterfalls and water on path. If you are ready to get wet you can do it. Also this lake is good... More

We visited the lake at 7.00am when no one else was there. The lake is very beautiful even though there was low cloud. We were unable to walk all the way around the lake due to very recent melting of snow making it possible to walk everywhere. We walked for about 1km and experienced this magical place, especially the reflections... More

The Black Lake is easy to reach by car or on foot from Zabljak and is stunningly located beneath some high mountain peaks. There is a walk that can be done around the lake shore or you can head up into the mountains. There was a small visitor centre but it seemed deserted (though open) when we visited and had... More

Amazing place to go for a walk. Just around 20 minutes from small town Zabljak. This place is surrounded by healthy forest and the highest tops of Durmitor mountain. i will do again.

Attraction near town Zabljak. Perfect place to visit during the summer or winter time. During the summer you can walk around lake or run or drive bike, as well as take a small boat tour. Also there is nice restaurant so you can eat on cleanest air, between peeks. During the winter time, lake is frozen and you can even... More

On the way from the parking lot to the lake, don't miss the goodies they sell. Lots of berrys and other sweets. Arriving at the lake, you can either take a nice swim of just hike around the lake to find more private places with ever changing beautiful views of the lakes, the forests and the mountains around it. Great... More

The lake was so clean that it was simply unbelievable. The air is so fresh and crisp around the Lake that it was simply spectacular. I would definitely recommend doing the hike around the lake, and maybe even taking a longer hike to the Zmijino Lake (2 hour hike). One can also take a boat ride on the lake and... More
