Lovely place to visit, the elephants are treated very well regardless of the other reviews. End of the day if the guy uses the hook on the elephant its for YOUR safety, they never use the hook just the flat end and actually in the grand scheme of things i doubt it hurts the elephant, it would be the same... Went here after recommended by other hotel guests .... My husband and 2 kids had the best time. The 50 min trek through the "jungle" with the 2 very funny guides was hilirious and the scenery well worth it. The kids rode bareback for abit of the trek which was an experience... I believe the elephants are well looked after,... More

We did the 50 min ride which cost $40 each. It was a great experience but wouldn't pay more than that. Our guide was super friendly and kind to the elephant, which was very important to me. Mostly shaded area when we rode so it wasn't too hot. I highly recommend using them over the other companies, for sure!

We chose this elephant trek based on other recent trip advisor posts. All I can say is that it was an amazing day. The kids giggled the entire way back as they sat on the elephants neck. The guides were fabulous, informative and made sure to take lots of family photos for us with our cameras, the view at the... More

Would recommend this as a novel way to spend an hour. We were transported to and from Karon beach and it was just a short trip to the elephants. It was raining but we still had a great time and I had the bonus of getting to take the guide's place on the elephants head. Beautiful animals and great scenery.... More

Elephant treking might sound a bit naff- but was great fun, good guide, 30 mins was enough in all reality, food after was good, snake show later and also monkey show- added up to a great way to spend a half day - then back to the pool for some R and R....

We did the elephant trek and the monkey show. LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!!! The monkey was HILARIOUS! The trekking on side of mountain was scary but worth every minute.

The elephants didn't go far, but just to be with them for 45mins was amazing - a holiday highlight! Fed the 2 baby elephants. Had a look at the Orchid garden (lots of hanging orchids) & gave the monkey a good drink.

We were a little hesitant about doing the elephant rides but went ahead after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. It seemed like most people enjoyed the rides and mentioned in their reviews that the elephants were treated well. I'm not sure if it was just the trainer we had but the elephant we rode on was definitely not treated well.... More
