Beautiful views of the Island, Bar Harbor and the ocean. We visit at least once a year and always go to Cadillac Mountain for the views. Highly recommend this stop if you are in the area.

Awesome view of the world below, Cadillac mountain is a very special place. We got up around four a.m. and drove the park loop road all the way around the island and then up to the Cadillac mountain road. Lots of others were already there waiting on the five a.m. sunrise on the top of the mountain. The clouds rolled... More

We spent a lovely day in Acadia National Park last June, and this was memorable - we took time to walk around, enjoy the views in many directions, and just soak in the beauty. The Maine Coast is a wonderful part of the U.S., which we were seeing for the first time - and this was as good as it... More

Folks, this is one of National Parks...I need not say too much more. It's easy to get to. We've been to 12 national parks, one being Acadia, and we look forward to visiting several more, but this one is well worth the trip.

We have visited Cadillac Mountain when the sky is clear crystal blue and at other times with the" fog creeping in on little cats feet"..in either case it is beautiful and a bikers delight to ride down after the grueling climb in low, low gear. You can see Otter Point, Bar Harbor, the golf Course, Porcupine Islands and cruise ships.... More

You can either drive to the top or hike it for a full day on foot. The view from the top is great, and its pretty cool to be one of the first people to see the sunrise in the USA in the morning. Can be windy at times so bring a jacket just in case. Best time to go... More

Very nice location to visit when going to Acadia National Park. The view is fantastic and the drive is meandering and scenic. Nice place to walk around and enjoy the great outdoors and would recommend if in the area.
