WOW....the views are amazing! There is a short trail that stops at a few different viewing points and the Liberty Bell Mountain view is beautiful. You also look down into the valley pass that heads towards Winthrup and Twisp. I was glad we deceided to stop and have a look as there are great photo options here.

I hadn't driven the North Cross State Highway in a long time and the view at Washington Pass is second to none. They have done a great job to make it accessible to all and you look down on the traffic below from a high cliff area with lots of mountains surrounding you. Not for the faint of heart but...
