Great path, well maintained with the 'wiggles' being aptly named. Some super photo stops. The path from the scouting point to the top is seriously exposed and anyone slightly nervous should think twice about going the rest of the way. It is well worth it but the drop offs are intense and they are sheer, no railing for you to... More

My husband went all the way to Angel's Landing, I stopped at Scout's Landing with others who are not so keen on heights. I tried to go up the initial climb and just didn't like feeling so exposed, so turned around and let my husband go enjoy. Which he did! Said he loved it. He also said it was good... More

My wife and I walked the Angels' Landing Trail from The Grotto as far as Scout's Lookout in May 2013. When we got to Scout's Lookout, we decided that discretion was the better part of valour (we are both seniors) and so we did not complete the final part of the trail to Angel's Landing. However the trail to Scout's... More

Start this hike early in the morning and BRING WATER! The views are stunning at every turn and Walter's Wiggles are fun to hike up. At the top, you'll get to Scout's Lookout which it a great place to stop, rest and have some lunch. After that, you grab on to chains and hike the last 1/2 mile to Angel's... More

This hike is absolutely worth its name, as there are spectacular views of surroundings... Those narrow paths raised adrenaline level a bit... I just love this place and it's one of the best hikes ever!!! I have to admit this was quite easy hike :) It's mainly like walking the stairs. If you have no problems with a lot of... More

When setting out on the Angel's Landing trail, I had some doubts because I suffer from vertigo. When I got to the part where the chains begin (called Scout's Landing), I stopped. I didn't have any problems with the trail before that point. The trail was well worth it even without going to the very top. The views throughout the... More

I was so nervous about this walk having read the reviews. I have a knee and lower back problem and didn't think I'd manage it but I did right to the very top! Go early, the entire first part is in the shade. We were on the path by 08:30 but it meant it was cool right to the last... More

Incredible views - always felt safe, one of the best hikes anywhere! Not overly crowded, and loved the perspective from the top looking into the valley.

As all the review promised, this hike was amazing but not to be taken lightly. I got so many amazing photos. Most of it is paved, but still proves to be quite strenuous. The last 0.5 miles is Rock-Climbing-Lite with narrow, uneven footing, a chain and a plunge to death if not careful. If you are in decent shape, careful,... More
