If you run out of things to do in the Cameron Highlands it's definitely in your interest to stop by Ipoh. There's a lot to do here. We took a bus from the CH's to Ipoh. Then we took a taxi to the airport from the bus station. It's very close. And we rented a car from the airport. It... More

Don't expect a big castle like Europe and UK. This one is generally small castle situated at a small hill. Enjoy the building layout and design, with surrounding is a nice nature scenery. small fees (RM5) applied. Must visit heritage site with friends, couple and family. Hot with brigh sunlight, so suggest early morning or late evening to visit this... More

My daughter really looked forward to this visit. When we arrived, from far.... the castle looked majestic. Then came reality. The moment we step into the castle, we were amazed with the amount of bird droppings everywhere. In fact, we decided to skip the cellar for fear of the surprises that was waiting for us. The notices of historical notes... More

This Castle has been well known in Malaysia especially for it's eerie appearance. It has been restored and visitor are welcomed. Detail happenings and sighting of ghost are pasted on the walls.

The remains of the old buildings are somewhat interesting, and if you're in the area this is worth a thirty minute visit or so, though definitely not worth any kind of significant detour to see. The real problem is transport. If you aren't driving yourself you'll probably need to get a taxi which ends up making the cost of the... More

There is no public transport specially to this attraction. Even if you were to find a bus, there is no guarantee you will not be stranded (with no bus schedule). There is also no (intercity) taxi seen plying this route. Your best way to get here ( if you are foreigner) is to charter a taxi in Ipoh for the... More

The castle is well worth a visit and has an interresting story. There was adequate parking and clean toilet facilities. The site is not marked off the North-South hIghway but is easy enough to find - it's approx 10-15km south of Ipoh.

As follies go this is quite interesting with the various building styles from around the world incorporated into a single building. The problem with this is the deterioration and lack of upkeep.
