There are a lot of fun places in Sandy Ground, love Johnnos on Sunday for Jazz with Sprocka and the Boys, Sandbar is not to be missed for tapas, Pumphouse is great fun and good food too.

There is so many amenities in Sandy Ground. Not only can you swim but there are all kinds of restaurants/bars. You can also catch a boat to go to Sandy Island or Prickly Pear. This is one of our favorite areas to be in Anguilla. One of the bars we recommend checking out is Sammy's which is next to Johnnos.

Not alway what you would expect that you can just show up and get a trip out to Prickly Pear and such for some snorkeling or just a day trip. You truly have to call ahead, and even then if there's not enough they won't go! So we were lucky and hooked up with someone who was nice enough to...

i love Anguilla, the privacy is amazing and the beaches are great , sometimes its hard to find anyone else when you there. it's like your on your own private beach

The beach at Sandy ground is nice but it is surrounded by bars. My husband went out fishing from there on the Miss Daisy. It was great fishing but I would prefer to dine else where. If you are renting at Sandy Ground check the wind direction. One side doesn't get the music until 2 in the morning.

What a great area on the island to spend a day or two or three or seven maybe. The beach is so beautiful and the water was very calm - we didn't swim or snorkel while we were there, but this location would be great. Simply put, this beach is picturesque (and I did take a lot of photos).

There are lots of restaurants here, from Sandbar, which is a very good tapas style place with well prepared small dishes; to Barrel Stay, which is one of the top-rated places on the island.

Excellent restaurant that we highly recommend. Beautiful balconies over the water where you sit and have dinner. Excellent food and ambiance. The owner is a sweetheart.

Sandy Ground is one of my favorite places to visit while in Anguilla. With pristine beaches with GREAT snorkeling you are bound to see some amazing things.
