During a break from diving we took a friend for her birthday to take surfing lessons, along with my wife they took an hour lesson and were quickly up and wind surfing. A great way to spend a surface day. BTW, go next door for great burgers, fish sandwich, and ice old draft beer.

We have visited Jibe City three years in a row now. We rent a condo in Belnam Bonaire every year and are avid divers. We only eat out once while we are in Bonaire and that is at Jibe City - usually on our last day when we are not allowed to dive anymore.

We stopped here for a few hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Right on the beach an is just a great place to chill out. Water is beautiful and food just as good. Didn't have a problem with service but they were very busy as cruise ship in town... Had the daily special which was reasonably priced and delicious....

bar staff creates their own prices. orderd a beer for 3,75 got charge 6,00. Staff very unfriendly. Good for windsurfing but not for a fair Service. I can't understand this kind of behavior.

Looooved this kiting beach. Not too crowded, great community vibe, even better lunch truck. I probably popped my kiting cherry at the best place in the world to go.

We met friends at Jibe City for lunch and drinks and found a very laid back, super casual, fun place to hang out and watch all of the windsurfers. Sorobon is an awesome place. Jibe City's Hangout Bar is located there. The people are genuinely nice and the food is very good. Try the crab salad sandwich - it's wonderful!

We spend a lot of our vacation in Bonaire at Jibe City in Lac Bay. We rent our windsurfing gear from them, enjoy the food and drink at the Hangout bar and relax in the loungers with a great view of the water and the windsurfers trying their hand at new tricks!
