We enjoyed our trip down the Martha Brae river. Our captain, Delroy, was friendly and informative. There were many vendors at the start of the rafting trip and along the banks that could be aggressive and made portions of the trip less relaxing. Delroy did a nice job of steering clear of the more aggressive ones. Overall, a worthwhile excursion.

We booked only a few excursions. The one we enjoyed the most was rafting down the Martha Brae river with Wayne. It was so beautiful and very relaxing. Bring $ for a gratuity and to purchase a calabash (sp) they're carved out coconut shells that they sell to the tourists...they're kinda cool. I bought one took it home and I... More

We book tour through Courney Taylor Private Tours Jamaica and I am glad we did. We enjoyed rafting down the river meeting the locals and swimming in Jamaica fresh water. Courtney made it fun and relaxing and at the affordable rate

Rafting down the Martha Brae was such a relaxing experience. We had a lovely 'captain', Leroy, who sang to us and talked to us about his life and experiences in Jamaica. The whole trip took about 90 minutes and it was beautiful, drifting along and marvelling at the vegetation and wildlife. We loved this, it was one of our favourite... More

I really wanted to do this raft ride. We had a full day behind us and wanted something authentic and relaxing. It did not fail to impress! We drove up kind of "after hours" and found two lone guys making their bamboo rafts. I asked if they were still giving raft rides and he said, "Ya, mon, no problem!" So... More

Sailing down the Martha Brae river with captain #13, Laurel was great. It was in the afternoon, the weather was great, and the crowds were gone. The ride was relaxing and romantic as Laurel gave us some history, education, and some good laughs. We stopped and grabbed redstripe and fruit juice, also plenty souvenirs to pick up along the way.... More

One of highlights of the trip. A bamboo raft floating down the Martha Brae River was a once in a lifetime experience. Such gorgeous scenery and interesting facts given by my guide, Errol. Really something different to do.

This was a highlight of our Jamaica experience. We loved the raft trip on a peaceful river, in the middle of the real jungle!!! This specific jungle location is very calm and has no big wild animals or fish (=absolutely safe). The feeling of being one on one with nature, listening to the river splash and birds chirp was wonderful... More
