Rent the car to see Chalk Sound Bay - this IS the absolutely most turquoise water you will see on the island. Next time I am going to try to find a house to rent on this Bay!

This makes a nice half day trip from our condo on Grace Bay. The views are gorgeous! Get off the main road and take side roads to get closer to the water. There is really nothing to do here but look at the beauty. You could combine it with a stop at Taylor Bay. Stop at Las Brissas for lunch... More

Really beatiful, far from civilization, when you think you´re lost, you reach the beach, just be careful not to get there too fast, otherwise you might fall in the ocean with the car

Nice views, primarily surrounded by better homes. Not that good for snorkeling! We rented an estate and had great breezes to keep the bugs away. Main issue it's about 30 minute drive to the action in the Grace Bay area.

We stayed on this side of the island and loved it. It's quiet. It really isn't that far from anywhere. We rented a car and would jump in and explore. There are great villas to rent on this side.

We drove there to see the waters. Left side, left side. the waters are amazing. Stop by Las Brisas for a snack . they will also give you a boat tour. Waitress there told us to go to Taylor Beach but somehow we missed it. Ah well. Next time.

Gorgeous water.... and unreal houses (ESPECIALLY the $60,000,000 house at the end of the neighborhood)... great to see if you have your own car or scooter.

If you can rent a vehicle, there are so many beautiful places to visit on the island, and Chalk Sound is one of them. The water, views and house views at Chalk Sound are breath taking and difficult to describe. I stopped at Las Brisas had a cool refreshing blue drink named after the sound. The drive out to the... This Sound has a chalk bottom, not sand so it is the most beautiful aqua blue water you'll ever see!! There are some beautiful homes in this area with breath taking views. A fun ride around on Vespas - Definitely a must see!!!
