As you read this, please know we've scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef which was insane and beautiful at the same time. This experience was just as good! We rented a jeep for the day, drove to Maho and saw a few turtles, next stop was Waterlemon! You have to park in a public lot and then walk down a... More

Great place to snorkle. rented a dingy to get there as they have places to tie up the boat. you can snorkle all around the cay and see tons of fish and other see life. Would suggest swimming counter clockwise around as the current will be with you that way. Current and wave get strong on the back side as... More

Definitely worth the hike or rented raft trip. It's one of the more pristine areas to snorkel. You'll see huge starfish, lobster, octopus, parrot fish, and most other sealife. We rented a 14 foot raft and traveled from Cruz Bay through the channel to Waterlemon Cay. There are lots of other snorkel stops along the way. We've done this trip... More

The walk in was a little rocky and muddy, but so worth it when you get to the beautiful sandy beach and don your fins! The snorkeling was excellent - so many beautiful fish and coral! You must snorkel out to the Cay to see the most variety, but watch for the currents as they can get a little strong.... More

Not as good as one other snorkel but really interesting. Saw a 4 foot barracuda a few turtles green and hawksbill. Different environments on each side of the cay. Went early and we were the only people but they were pouring in as we were leaving and the current was picking up too.

Relaxing and very few people walk out to the point to snorkel the Cay. Pack a lunch and enjoy the peace and quiet. Coral is beautiful lots of marine life. hike to the ruins for a beautiful view of the BVI.

Good swimming and snorkling in and around the area, but it can be a bit crowded. You may see a turtle or two if you are there in the morning before the boat traffic arrives.

We enjoyed the walk up to the ruins overlooking the cay. Have some of our best pictures from the 1st ruin you encounter. We snorkeled around the cay which was good but the current was swifter than anticipated and halfway through my mask broke making viewing more difficult. From what I did see though, the coral looked to be very... More

Long walk, but worth it. The swim out to the Cay is not bad. Be aware of the current so you know if you can swim back against it. This was the best reef that I saw on our trip.
