We checked in 4 days ago with our two daughters for spring break. From the first day the showers in both (adjoining) rooms have drained so slowly that the bathroom floods. Tonight in our room after one shower the flooding extended into the bedroom. I have asked for help 4 days in a row. The last two involved the manager... More

Small but protected beach due to its location. This is where Lawrence Rockefeller placed his famed resort, where you reportedly can see the rich and famous who visit St John. I didn't see any, but was busy swimming in the cerulean sea. Heard China bought the resort and have tried to make it private, but St John's beaches are open... More

We went to Caneel Bay on our honeymoon. That was 17 years ago. Caneel has not lost a bit of its charm. We visited for lunch, and they were very much welcoming. It can be pricy, but not much more than other places, and given the atmosphere, it was worth it. The one thing that I felt was not necessary... More

At least, that's what the nice fellow at the gate told us. Couldn't even drive in to see the beach! Oh well, next time, I guess . . . And I have no idea if the beach is average, terrible or Excellent. Tripadvisor MADE me rate it even though I didn't see it!

Area is beautiful, quiet and not crowded like some of the other beaches. The water is so warm and crystal clear. There are some restrooms close by.

Great Beach with nice, warm water. Great for snorkeling. It is calm and there is tons of fish. We even found a turtle! Also, it is free and restrooms are nearby. Note, however, that towels, rental gear, and beach chairs are reserved for registered guests of Caneel Bay Resort!

A nice place to end the sunny day with a cocktail. The mango madness was made from scratch and delicious.

We did an eco tour here and then spent the rest of the day at the facility.Kayaking , hike and snorkeling!. We had lunch at the hotel --good food! Water is wonderful and it is quiet and not heavily populated like some of the other beaches.

The property is beautiful, and the beach is pretty. However, it isn't as pretty as Trunk Bay, Hawknest, Cinnamon, or Jumbies. There is a nice raft to swim out to, and if you snorkel along the right past the point, you will be rewarded. We saw a Gray Angel Fish pair. We weren't allowed to bring a cooler to the... More

The beach is at the Caneel Bay resort so it feels a bit like a man made beach. Lots of amenities and the hotel restaurant is good, but a bit pricey.
