We sought Ocean Hole out on the way down to Lighthouse Beach one sunny Sunday morning. It's initial appearance is that of a neighborhood park with a pond. Only upon further discovery did we find the water as clear as the nearby ocean and the brightly colored fish sitting ready for the next meal offered from above. Like to so... More

My daughter and I checked this out and it is worth a trip. A bit hard to find, when you turn down the road where the sign is, take a right at the school sign then you will see it. Bring crackers to feed the fish, they come right up and you will see a ton.

Another 'must see' stop in any of our vacations on Eleuthera is the Ocean Hole in Rock Sound. Recent repairs and renovations make the access, experience and beauty even more of a highlight.

We missed thisnthe first time by because the sign is facing the wrong direction. If you go past the school, you have gone to far. The park is a bit gritty, but the variety of fish is really amazing for being inland. Be sure to bring some bread to feed the fish or you will be disappointed. Luckily someone gave... More

It took us a while to find this because we did not realize it was right in town across from the school. There was a dead fish and trash floating in it. I can't imagine anyone would actually go is this water.

Ocean Hole was fun if you want to feed the fish, not much else to do. We did not swim because the water was not very clear...didn't know what other fish were in there!

This was dissapointeing. It is basically a natural round pond that resembles a small rock quary in the US. There are no signs to lead you there. In Rock Souds you turn east at "Eddie"s shop. (Only marked on his window). go about 3 blocks and turn right just before the cemetary. It's one block in. If you are passing... More

If you are traveling through Rock Sound, drive off the road a bit and make a visit. It looks like a quarry, but not a great snorkeling spot.

Very easy to get to. Two blocks off the Queens hwy. Turn east by little yellow dress shop. At the cemetery turn right. Park is right in front of you. Can see fish right from edge. There is a ladder to make it very east to swim or snorkel. That is probably the best way to see the fish. Don't... More

While away a few hours in the park that surrounds the hole. Feeding the fish is fun. We saw a very big grumpy looking grouper, several trumpet fish, brightly coloured angel fish amongst others. Didn't spot the turtles though. Well worth a visit.
