Visited the former Natural History Centre at Glenmore quite a few times so to see it reborn as Nadurra was great even if it appears to be just a cosmetic facelift. The site has serious potential with a pay to enter walk through exhibit which I feel should really be free in order to attract a greater footfall. Cafe area... More

thanks you Nadura for wonderful GF scones and fruit loaf last week - much appreciated. Nice spot for a coffee and good shop and exhibits ...pretty much the only spot for coffee actually!

Set deep into the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula is this very interesting nature centre which has as its focus the wildlife of the area. A film describes the natural habitat and the kind of birds and animals that are present. There are also cctv cameras showing a local heronery, an area where pine martens nest and a number of presentations about... More

We (family of 7) went to Nadurra twice in our 2 week holiday. The location was lovely, driving through some of the grandest countryside we have ever seen. Nadurra is well located with good parking, and seems like a good birdwatching place. Our young children enjoyed the exhibits and we found them very informative about the area and its wildlife.... Called in whilst passing by - did not pay for main exhibition as rather too pricey for a quick visit. Shop and tearoom were good and lovely views over lochside. A whiskey distillery is under construction next door which will make it more of a destination stop.

friendly staff, great setting, and I had some soup while I was there which had to be the best I have tasted, was amazing! Staff were knowlegable on best areas for local wildlife spotting, and very pleasant.

We very much enjoyed our coffee and cakes. The coffee was especially good, I was pleased with the care taken to make it. The scones were delicious and obviously freshly baked. We sat in the lovely little sun room which was covered in vines and loaded with grapes - quite unexpected. There was a great selection of " goodies "... More
