We were lucky enough to just have the 2 of us and had the teacher "Cookie" all to ourselves. We we able to learn about the food as well as some Thai culture as well. Cookie was very informative and knew what she was talking about and the value for money was unreal. We did the 9-2pm class and we... More

We loved this cooking class! 7 courses, they picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. We went to the market and learned about our ingredients, shopped for our food. We then went to the cooking school and learned how to make dishes that were scrumptious. I have used the recipes and techniques often since coming back to... More

It was the second time we took a cooking course. First time was at the northern area at Chiang Mai. This school is southern style. It was well organized. The market tour is very nice because you can still see hoe they make curry and other ingredients by hand. The course itself is good with plenty of possibilities to choose... More

We signed up for a whole day cooking class and a market tour. Our teacher for the day was Bunny who was very energetic, charismatic and joyful. We enjoyed the market tour and Bunny's explanations of the food and its origin and uses. We bought some stuff and later were sorry that we did not buy more there. The cooking... More

My girlfriend and I happened upon this cooking class, as we were originally trying to book a class which our friends attended the day before. Apparently the teacher taking that class taught Gordon Ramsay, however, that class had reached its capacity of 20 students. When we were picked up from our hotel we were pleased to discover that there were... More

We did the evening class. The teacher spoke English fairly well, we could manage to eat our cooked meals prepared with our own hands. They pick u up from the hotel and bring u back also. Cookbook included. Just to recommend! More

We were so excited to learn how to cook a few Thai dishes. Our experience at Smart Cook exceeded our expectations in every way. We were picked up from our hotel and brought to the outdoor cooking school. Great instruction and each of us made 6 different Thai dishes--they were delicious! From start to finish, we had a great experience... More

The complete experience of going to the market, going out to the countryside farm, the open air pavilion where we cooked and ate, the superb and fun instructor, plus great food that we each made--created a wonderful experience! We highly recommend it! More
