Close to hotel by cab, secluded feel, lots of fish and large coral shelf, easy beach access and restaurants, 10 peso shower, etc.
Fantastic snorkeling! Go before noon to beat the crowds on weekends. All the restaurants are decent with Bogarts being my favorite
Go in the morning, before the wind comes up and makes the water near the shore a bit less clear. Beautiful for swimming, romping with the children, relaxing, and snorkeling. Lined with palapa restaurants that will let you leave your belongings right at a table while you are on the sand. Go there by car, taxi, or panga...or walk! Wonderful... More
La entrega is a swimming and snorkling playa that is awesome. The waters are so clear and clean its like swimming in a pool. Of course there is a few waves. If your vacationing with a family or couple this playa is beautiful and perfect. Lots of restaurants that offer fried and grilled seafood , soup, snacks, alcoholic and regular... More
A great beach to visit. We went snorkelling with a local guide. A very nice experience. The only thing to watch for is the restaurants, they can be pricy for what the offer. A lot of locals use this beach so it makes it nice to see the children swimming and fishing around the rocks.
We spent a few hours snorkeling and hanging out here. The people were so kind. The beach was calm and beautiful. When snorkeling the life vest is optional, but you should definitely take one because the current swimming back the 100 yards off shore was quite strong.
It was great to snorkel in the reef, very good for beginners. You can bring easily your own equipment, no need for "tours" that locals offer. We went fishing that morning, caught a huge dorado and they grilled it in a local palapa for a very decent price
Stopped briefly but you have to go through all the hucksters and con artists . One couple with a rope trying to pry 20 pesos from people to go see a free beach ? really , that is sad . Then upon arrival at the parking lots , more opportunists awaiting .. There are so many nice beaches with less... More
calm water, lots of places to relax on the beach. beverages and some food available with shaded tables. not far from town with some site seeing opportunities along the way.
This beach was gorgeous, not too busy, and a great place for a snorkel, a swim or just a place to lie in the sun and read a book. We weren't inundated with people selling us the usual stuff on the beach and the place was mostly peopled by Mexicans enjoying their beautiful natural paradise. Soft sand, warm, clear water... More
