This beach has it all - food - activities - beach clubs - parasailing - vendors (the store comes to you).
I found myself surrounded by hundreds of gay men and women sitting under the palapas and/or on towels near the surf line. Everyone enjoying and soaking up the hot Mexican sun and socializing with gays from all over the world. You'll notice right away the many beach vendors who push all sorts of merchandise, and can be very territorial. They... More
Beautiful, fun beach! Lots of different activities offered (parasailing, boat rides, etc). I truly enjoyed this area. :o) **Just be aware that there are MANY beach vendors coming up to you trying to sell their wares-from wooden sculptures, clothing, jewelry, cigarettes/cigars, key chains, maracas, blankets, sunglasses, and so much more! :o) If you are a patient, easy going person, like... Perfect location, clean sand with many great restaurants, club locations with palapa' sand chairs and lounge areas. Loved Lido's beach club....great staff, friendly with good pricing and great food. Just remember all the vendors!

During the day and into the early evening hours there are several shops but keep in mind that they cater to the cruise ships so the prices are higher than at the flee market. Most of the venders trying to get you to... More
Best beach in Vallarta especially for gay men. Beautiful golden sand, free beach chairs with shade, warm semi-calm water for swimming and friendly people. It's a very safe beach too.
