Loved this....Saw an underwater statue of the Madonna and Baby....A ton of barracuda hanging around! Lots of parrot fish species too! Bad and high winds from the south made things a little less wonderful--but all in, really good value for $$$. Oh...Mexican National Park...so bring 20 pesos per person or $2US per person aside from boat fee. ($20 pesos is... More

Booked a tour through the fishermans co-op. We had read that if you book through them the profits go back to the fisherman of the island and that seemed better than some for profit company. The cost was $25US or 600 Pesos (same everywhere on Isla). Their office is just north of the Ultramar Ferry dock. There were four of... More

Beautiful place to snorkel. Even kids enjoyed it. Beautiful fish, coral, and barracudas. You will experience swimming with large school of fish. It was a wonderful experience for everyone. Afterwards, we went for a fish supper that was traditionally BBQ. It was the best fish we ever ate on the island. We truly recommend it.

This was such a relaxing snorkel. You do see alot of fish, but stay away from the rocks, as it does have fire coral...painful. The only drawback was not enough time spent there. The tour companies want you in and out so fast, you barely have time to see it all. Too bad you can't go out on your own... More

El Farito is beautiful, there are so many different fish. If you have never done any snorkeling before this is a great place to start. The current does all the work and you can just float along and view the beauty all around. We go back again and agian and there is always something new.

Isla is not the best place for snorkeling. This spot was close to town and the best on the island. Cheap too. As part of a three site trip for $45 a couple

Maybe we missed it, but I didnt see any reason to go here! ITs nothing but the tip of the middle of the island. No reason to be on the map!

My eighteen year old son and I went with members of Carey Dive Center for snorkeling at two spots off the west coast of Isla. El Farito was one of the stops. I scuba dive, but my son doesn't, however, what he was able to see was as close to scuba diving as one is going to get without going... More

We did the 2:00 PM trip with Captain Tony & Mundaca Divers. Well worth the $35 for the great service, good equipment and great snorkelling! Saw a ton of fish, including grouper and barracuda, plus a sea turtle! Easy way for a snorkeling novice to see what it's all about!

We saw wonderful fish. The water is shallow and calm here. Loved it.
