I was expecting a low cost, quiet, minimalist experience as compared to the Parque Garrafon. Really this is a run down place. I suppose I am disappointed that I had to spend 100 pesos to rent a crappy mask and fins. We would have been far better off paying the 1/2 day rate and going to the Parque.

There were lots of fish her but not much variety. It cost our family 200 pesos to stop her for an hour. I would skip it next time. Just snorkel at the Avalon for free.

This is a nice protected beach cove, good for kid/beginner snorkeling. There isn't a huge variety of fish or much coral, but there is enough to keep one entertained for an hour or so.
