located right next to the Garrafon park but this only costs 50 pesos to snorkel! You can also rent snorkel equipment, they have beach chairs and umbrellas to use, and a shower with bathrooms. There were fish everywhere! As soon as you get int the water they were all around you!

I spend most of my time on the Playa Norte, but this is a great place to come if there are strong winds from the north, or if you just want to change it up a little. Good snorkeling. Good service. I haven't tried much of the food, but what I did eat was fine. One of the great perks... More

This is right next to the Parque El Garrafon, BUT, is much more cost effective. We paid $5/each for entry, whereas the Parque El Garrafon charges $50+ for an "all-inclusive" entry. The day we were there, the water was a tad rougher than usual, but we still saw fish and had a good snorkel. They have a snack bar with... More

After checking the reviews of Garafon Parque and this place, Garafon de Castilla, we decided to spend the morning at de Castilla. We were not disappointed. We paid a fraction of the cost of the park to see the same fish, and the food was quite good. (Get the fish tacos). No, it is not the fanciest place on the... More

Only 50 pesos to get in plus 100 for fin/mask rental. This is my first time snorkeling so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I thought it was fun! Only a few varieties of fish near the shore but PLENTY of them. If you swim out farther you can see more varieties, as well as some coral.... More

I was expecting a low cost, quiet, minimalist experience as compared to the Parque Garrafon. Really this is a run down place. I suppose I am disappointed that I had to spend 100 pesos to rent a crappy mask and fins. We would have been far better off paying the 1/2 day rate and going to the Parque.

There were lots of fish her but not much variety. It cost our family 200 pesos to stop her for an hour. I would skip it next time. Just snorkel at the Avalon for free.

I have never seen so many fish around people. I have swam in the red sea in Sharm El Sheikh, but there was no where near as many fish there. It is only a fraction of the price of Garrafon Park, its right on the beach and I am sure that there was more fish here than at Garrafon. Would... More

This is a nice protected beach cove, good for kid/beginner snorkeling. There isn't a huge variety of fish or much coral, but there is enough to keep one entertained for an hour or so. The beach has loungers & umbrellas. The restaurant had good food (and delicious fresh-squeezed lemonade). Facilities were very basic but adequate. Beware - if you feed... More
