An awe inspiring site, stalactites looming down as the tour continues ever deeper eventually sliding into the clear water that flows through the maze. After an indeterminate amount of time, emerge at another point in the forest. Walk, swim, and float through a remarkable series of sights all small talk had all but petered out, replaced by a silence in the awe of the raw power of nature. « less

Our tour guide was the best, Thank you Rodrigo, he know all the things for the cenotes and this underground tour, he puts you right there, and for the price it is great. Can not go wrong with it. Plus everything is included. Thank you Rodrigo for such a great tour More

Rio Secreto was an extraordinary experience. When you leave the place, you will actually feel what I am taking about. There is no words to explain what a Beauty and magic is Rio Secreto AND the people that work there seem to be influenced by it, that's the explanation I found. Rodrigo Pinedo, the guide, was so knowledgeable but not... More

We experienced Rio Secreto as an excursion offered by Royal Caribbean on a recent cuise in May, 2012. We were a bit nervous with the 45 minute drive down a remote bumpy dirt road in the large passenger van. Once we arrived at Rio Secreto, the organization was clearly legitimate with ample restroom facilities, shower, and lockers for us to... More

This was a great excursion. The whole place is very beautiful and the underground cave was really amazing. We enjoyed our guide Roderico. The price IMHO is a little high $99 per person, they can cut out the lunch and charge less. Also the bus ride to the caves is a bit bumpy try to sit towards the front. Enjoy!! More

We took this tour with friends. They send you in small groups- about eight. Our tour guide was Jaime. He was funny, knowledgable and personable and made our experience that much better. The cenote is stunning- you may never see anything like this in your life. The tour is almost evenly split between walking/hiking (all extremely novice, just a bit... More

Okay people...This is a must see! This was by far the most beautiful thing I have seen in the area. It is awesome. Our tour guide was awesome. They have tours in french, english, and spanish. They are truly dedicated to conservation. We visited another small cenote which was nothing compared to this. I promise you will never see anything... More

It was only 15 minutes from Paradisus. So much fun. Not for people with difficulty walking. More

A very cool experience. Might need to be a little daring to go into the pitch black with just the light on your helmet - but a GREAT experience and something you will not forget. Loved it all More

I was with a group of people who went on this tour through our company while in Mexico. At dinner the night before I was telling everyone about some of the reviews I read here on Tripadvisor and we all laughed about the fact that someone wrote going on this tour was "life changing"...I mean how can exploring an underground...
