Had lunch here recently and it was excellent and good value. This more than a place to stop for coffee although the coffee and selection of cakes made by the owner are mouthwatering. Did not visit the museum but we really enjoyed good coffee and lovely scones in the cafe. The chocolate cake was delicious too. Highly recommended.

There Beara peninsula (or Ring of Beara) is, to my mind, far more interesting than the other 'ring'.
