Be careful when buying silver. May be nickel instead. Make sure you wear sunscreen. If paying in dollars, do not accept pesos as change. It's a ripoff
It was fun and all but I wish it was a junk store with diferent junk. Although the tamales were delicious. :)
I like the flea market! I didn't buy anything because it's all of the same souvenirs you'll find all over the place. However, it's worth walking around and having a look.

We actually used the flea market to take the short-cut from the city street to the marina. This is a pretty long walk through there, but allowed us to see what kinds of junk they were selling.
Especially when the cruise ships show up. When you go shopping do it between cruise ship visits. Nothing has a price tag so you can guess how that goes when you ask for a price. Never pay the asking price, they expect you to bater.
We had a great time bartering with the crew at the flea market. We didn't purchase a lot of trinkets and they were respectful of the fact that we were just looking. Must say that everything was "almost free today"! LOL
