If we weren't experiencing beautiful views, it was because we were enjoying the peacefulness of being right in the middle of the forest. I'm sure that the guides get a feel for the ability of each group and set an appropriate pace, we were looking for a bit of a workout - and got some great exercise. We lucked out... More

Thank you so much for this review, WLaurel. Your family were a treat to guide, three lovely teen girls who were interested and interesting. That's very nice for a guide and it speaks to some quality parenting. Thank you! Nadine More

We have been living and loving Lake Louise since August and there is so much to explore! Our trip today was one that deepened our love for the surroundings and opened our eyes to more of the hidden wonders of the area. A healthy workout, combined with some mind expanding info and lots of fun! Joel and Nadine are one... More

This was our first experience snowshoeing and Great Divide provided a personal and professional trek for us. Our guide Joel took the time to answer everyone's questions and provided us with just the right amount of detail about the natural surroundings. We had a delicious snack break about halfway through consisting of home made hot chocolate and granola bars. We... More

My husband booked a 4 hr snowshoe guided tour with Great Divide during our recent trip to Lake Louise. Given our spectacular surroundings, it says a lot to say that the tour was a trip hi-lite! Joel was extremely knowledgeable and engaging as our guide. His passion for the area was evident! We felt we saw part of the area... More

This was one of my favourite experiences when visiting the Lake Louise region. Joel is an amazing guide who provided such an enriching snow shoeing experience. When I thought of snow shoeing I was just picturing a walk through the forest but it was so much more!! We learnt about the geographic history, animals who are active in winter and... More

Four of us booked a private trip with Great Divide snowshoeing near lake louise. On meeting Joel he explained the safety basics and where we were going, unfortunately we got stuck for nearly an hour on the Trans-Can highway waiting for snow to be cleared from a wildlife overpass which ultimately ate into our trip a little. Once at the... More

Just epic. My wife and I met up with Joel and we went on a trek through a quieter area of Lake Louise. 11am-3pm and we didnt for one second stop being amazed. Beautiful scenery, fantastic tour guide and a highlight of our whole trip! We will go again in summer for hiking!

This was our 5th time my mom and I have been hiking/snowshoeing with the Great Divide. This time we were snowshoeing with Joel at Whitehorn. It was such an amazing trip. Joel was an excellent guide and host who shared his knowledge of the Park animals and how they cope with the heavy winter conditions as well as providing lovely hot chocolate and biscotti for us. The walk was not strenuous and tremendously beautiful with the silence and snow laden trees providing a perfect atmosphere. My wife and I ( age... More
