Beautiful little area with lots of unique stores, restaurants and old buildings. You'd never know you were only blocks from the downtown core.
Beautiful area with large selection of entertainment and dining experiences. Beautiful area to stroll during the spring and summer. The residences keep the area clean and beautiful to look at.
I walked here from downtown rather than take the LRT to Sunnyside. All the tour books had hyped it as a place to eat and shop. One of the few original neighbourhoods left in Calgary. Lot's of cool, unique shops and restaurants. The local coffee shop "Higher Ground" is the hub of the neighbourhood. But you'd better hurry, as the City Council seems determined to destroy the quaintness of the area with high rises.
Too bad this area is more developed. It could be great, but it is just okay with several shops failing and little atmosphere. Enough with the patchouili and crystal shops!
Excellent palce to do errands and leisure time. have wonderful places for food and shopping. my only thing about this place is the aprking lot, even though i tried to visit it often, specially summer time
