World class jumping events, craft and food fairs, music etc. They make key events very affordable. This parking and shuttles are extremely well organized.

Spruce Meadows is the Calgary horse event and facility. People all over the world come to see this spectacular location. The well maintained grounds and the access to all these amazing animals makes you glad to live in Calgary.

A fun place to spend the day, even if you are not a 'horse person'. The various events throughout the summer season are great for jumping competitions, people watching, food grazing and cultural enlightenment. The Christmas Craft market in November is also a great time, and well organized.

We took our kids here for a riding competition one Saturday. The indoor arena is great,with seats that are up close and personal. The event was free, too!

We really enjoyed visiting Spruce Meadows over the holidays. They have miles (literally) of Christmas lights strung over the acres of land and it's incredibly beautiful. This is a world-class equestrian centre featuring major international competitions. There's usually something for everyone here and the horses are a sight to behold. You can go to many free events here too. Great for families or entertaining out-of-town guests. A real gem in this area. Don't miss it.
