Went there for the first time in several years. Seems a bit more tired and worn down then it used to. Prices for attractions are very high and without coupons seem prohibitive. The mini golf was quite fun and my kids enjoyed.
Shopping was fun. But the mall was quite crowded. The sea lion show can be accessed for free...

Great place to visit. If you are looking for something in Edmonton you'll probably find it here. Continually evolving with new stores and the recent renovations give the mall a more modern look.
What a great way to spend a raining, cold Saturday!
I was "WOWed" by the skating rink, the indoor water park, the Seal show, the Pirate Ship, the childrens indoor theme park. Great variety of stores as well - prices are average and depend on the store you visit.

Did the top 3 big rides-made the mistake of doing the roller coaster first...shold have saved the best for last. Worth buying a day pass. Recommend going when it opens as it is slow and no lineups. You can go enjoy the rest of the mall and return to the rides later if the feelin' hits ya. The food court...

There is a hotel on site, an indoor amusement park, loads of restaurants, a waterpark with waterslides and wave pool, movie theaters and lots more to...

Aside from it's size and variety of stores there is nothing terribly special about it. Selection at certain chain stores seems better...

I've visited many mega malls across a variety of continents and I can definitely say that West Edmonton mall is up there with the best. Clean, bright, spacious, packed with shops to suit every pocket and taste, it is a city in its own right. There's an ice rink, a lake, even a beach! And the food court had us...
