This is a lovely park by the water. It is especially nice for a stroll at sunset. Nicely treed and quiet.

Very quiet park that has wonderful walkways along the water. A strong police presence noted but no sign of any activity that might require them.
If you want a swim on a hot day, and you happen to be in the center of town, you will be happy that there is a beach. The beach is right in the center of the city, restaurants, shops and cafes are plentiful on Bernard Ave.,and all are in walking distance. Parking can be a problem. Not recommended for nocturnal moonlight strolls.
There are lots to do in this park... One can play volleyball, soccer, basketball, etc. We went for a swim and we also love the springklers! We will definitely come back for more of it!
I met a young woman who wholeheartedly endorsed this park. She did warn me though that there are shady characters in the park, but there is a lot of entertainment as well. She continued by explaining to stay out of the park at night.
I love the view of the valley, the quiet waters and of course the fresh mountain...

Lots of well maintained flower beds and trees. Great walking paths, tennis courts, kiddies pool and skateboard park. Enjoyment for the whole family whether you bring the kids, your dog or just want a nice long walk.
Nice place to stop and go for a stroll and watch the kids playing in the water or on the playground equipment that is there. Beautiful views and always happy people smiling when you go by.
I was a volunteer for the Kelowna Relay for life and Kelowna City Park was a fantastic venue! I have also come here on several occasions to go for a walk along the water with my partner or my dog or to watch a friend play soccer. There is a water park and childrens play area and plenty of grass...
