We stayed at the Green Point campground, part of the National Park, with a truck camper. The sites are very well laid out. About a quarter of them are alongside the beach bluff and some of these have ocean views. There is lots of separation with trees between each site. There are toilet blocks with flushing toilet and hot water... More

Great walking trails all thru the park. An amazing place. Don't forget your camera and have good hiking shoes too.

Government cuts have squeezed the available services in the parks. There are comissioners who vigilantly scan for an expired parking permit. But few park officers, no life guards even in peak season, not even an emergency phone. Happily most people have their own now - unless they are in trouble out in the water. In my opinion, the park looks... More

Seems to be a lack of funds...just not what it use to be...some maintenance required...10 dollars to park for a couple of pictures is high....

What a place to see. Surf in the winter time is so powerful. Even thought everything is a bit darker and melancholy the beaches and water are wonderful to behold. Do be careful on the headlands or rocky points as people have been swept away by large waves. Also wear foot wear that can take a bit of a soaking.... More

There is much to see and experience while in the park. Amongst favourites are just off the road down to the water at Long Beach: Our first stop is Florencia Bay the site of numerous shipwrecks over the centuries along the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. The ocean crashes against the rocks. Then there is the easy walking trail... More

I can't come up with anything negative to say about the park. The variety of scenery, which ranges from old growth forest to endless beaches, is jaw-dropping and inspirational. One can't see much from a moving vehicle, however. So, get out and walk! We purchased our "day pass" from an automated machines at one of the parking lots, and the... More

If you buy a one day pass it usually allows you enough time to return for a visit the following day. Many amazing hikes and beaches. If you love the outdoors this place can not be beat!
