This is more like a speedway with all those Vancouverites racing to get to Squamish or Whistler and absolutely no police to control the morons. Many sharp corners and hills --- it's dangerous, keep your eyes on the road and avoid the psychos that think they're in the Indy 500.

Breathtaking and astounding scenic drive. Take it slowly in order to appreciate it fully. Stop at Porteau Cove and enjoy the views.

Took the drive up from downtown Vancouver to Whistler. Weather was a bit cloudy with occasional light rain so much of the mountains were obscured. The views were still nice and stopped by two great waterfalls on the drive...there were signs so you couldn't miss. Other drivers were very aggressive and if you obey the speed limits you will be...

What a great drive. It takes about 2 hours to drive from Vancouver to Whistler on the Sea to Sky Highway. The scenery is unbelievable, the winding road on the side of the mountains is just great. Take your time and stop for photos at the observation points. You won't be disappointed.

We travelled from the ferry wharf to the peaks of the Rocky mountains via this route. Very scenic along the way.

Not only do you start and end in beautiful places - the sea to sky highway is stunning - amazing views! The sunset is superb accrosst the gulf islands and there's so much to see along the way. If you're travelling by public transport make sure you are on the right side to have a sea view!

It was the most beautiful sunset I have ever experienced in my life! Breathtaking! Going north and south it was spectacular. Plan your trip to Whistler from Vancouver during the sunset...so pretty and memorable!

This is the most beautiful drive on the planet. I live in Alaska and have been to almost every continent; nowhere have I seen a road with comparable scenery and beauty. It was a cloudy day but incredible views were still enjoyed! A nice highway, mostly 2 lanes and the speed was comfortable.

Very nice road, which is apparently due to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler. Tons of places to pull off and see the view. Go to the BC Mining Museum and the staff at the visitor's information center (re) in Squamish were nice.
