We used the sky train to travel from the airport to the waterfront and did the return journey 2 days later. It was fast, comfortable and cheap. Seniors pay only .75c each way. It runs about every 15 mins. It is a driverless train which is a bit daunting for some. But the advantage is you can sit up front... More

I flew into Vancouver International and was meeting a friend in Coquitlam so I took the Skytrain from the Airport to Waterfront and then changed trains on the other line to Lougheed Town Center. It was quick and easy to pay for my one way ticket. I also had lots of room for my luggage. On my way back to... More

This is the best way to get to Vancouver airport. From downtown, the ride was about 25 minutes and it only cost $4.00!! Can't beat that!

Great travelling method around Vancouver and it goes to almost all the interesting parts of the city. It would have been more helpful if someone could give directions or information. We did not realise that the bus ticket could work in the sky train, but figured it out.

Vancouver did a great job connecting it's metro with the airport. It is totally automated which for the first time user was not user friendly at all. A very nice agent at the information center was most helpful doing a good deed and giving me and another lost traveller a card to use to add a fare on the card.... More

The best method to use to get to place in a poor traffic city. Rarely out of commission and reasonably frequesnt enough. Clean and covers downtown to Surrey via Burnaby. New lines are opening up.

With a taxi ride in the $30 range from YVR to downtown, the Skytrain, at $9 for an adult even during rush hour is a real deal. Non-rush hour is less than half that. Take the train!

I don't love public transit. Squashed into dirty dark tubes with people sniffling with colds and flus is not my favorite. However, Vancouver's Skytrain is bright and airy. The only underground part is through the south part of the city, from the airport and about 3 kilometres through downtown. The rest of the system is built on airey bridges and... More

I LOVE the SkyTrain from the airport, and wish all airports has a similar method. It's clean, fast and so easy and convenient. And cheap...$9 to get from the airport to downtown Vancouver. And $4 return?! That's crazy talk!!!

Took only 30 minutes from Vancouver Airport to Waterfront station. Then a 4 block walk to the Marriott Pinnacle. Great.
