Worth the climb. Walk up the road and come back down in the path along the sea shore. Wear good shoes.

Very informative! We walked the trail from Battery Rd. up the hill. Highly recommend doing this. Was amazing! All up hill so make sure you wear your walking shoes.

Signal Hill does not look so daunting but generally it is best to drive it the first time and then decide if you want to hike it another time. Worth the trip. Great views, some trails to check out, lighthouse views, good gift shop.

Could be a Great view but it was extremely foggy, so not as good as we had hoped for. Make sure you go on a clear day.

There is a trail running all around the hill. We hiked some of it, but realized it just kept going and going, so we turned around. The 360 degree views of ocean and city are beautiful! Night photography from here is also amazing.

Besides checking out the informative display in the tower, if you feel energetic, go for the walk along the edge of the bay. It's quite a lot of exercise but there is lots to see including Fort Amhearst fron across the narrows and you pass over the Devil's Cleft.

Great view of St John's. A must to visit, but dress warm, as it is very windy. If you can, hike around Signal Hill. Great work out!

Cabot tower was closed unfortunately (out of season). I was surprised as most of the pathways were clear of snow so it was easy to walk around. The views are absolutely incredible.

A must but if the weather is cold and windy dress warmly. We were there on a day when temp. was 3C and windy. But the view of St John"s was worth the visit. Take your camera. Makes you think of history amd Mr. Marconi sending the first wireless message Rudy Lora Bay Canada

We hiked up to Signal Hill from our B&B, took a while...and your legs are feeling pretty sore once you get up to Signal Hill. The view is really cool. You can also hike down a staircase which brings you near the coast, and then it wraps the rock face...very neat!
