We hiked the Frame LAke and Prospectors trail. Both were well marked, and booklets providede a great introduction to local geology.

Beautiful trail. What more can I say, It's a trail! Nice to walk/bike ride/ jog on. Trees, flowers, natural beauty, by the water. :)

Our family loved this trail. Lots to see and not very challenging. Many sites along the way as well such as the Prince of Wales museum, visitor centre, and Lesiglative Assembly (highly recommend!!). Great scenery and a must-do in Yellowknife!

This trail is nice to walk on. It offers a pathed trail around the city with woods and lake surroundings. The only downfall is that it is not safe to travel alone or at night. There have been many attacks along this trail as well as the occational person "camping" out.

Frame Lake Trail is nice but along the trail their have been a few incidents. Best bet is to always walk with someone.

This trail is kept in very good condition. I visited it in November and it was well plowed and even in the evening it was well lit. I was able to go for a relatively long walk. Since its is protected by the trees it was comfortable walking even when it was more than -20 and windy.
