We were soooo disappointed that the Museum was shut on Sunday when we made a weekend visit to Sault Ste Marie. This is filled with a local history of the town, it occupies the site of the old post office. It may not be appreciated by people who are not connected with the town. Recommended to anyone who are into museums or history.

This was a self-guided tour museum with well-organized exhibits of the local history. Wonderful old building with lots of charming effects.

We are new to the Soo and my children wanted to visit this museum to find out more about our new home. They thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly the ship exhibit on the top floor.
