the cool thing about this attraction is its only ever going to cost you 5 cents to ride! Kids love it and it right on the beach!

The merry-go-round has been kept in pristine condition over all theses years and still the price of a ride is only 5c

My children grew up in Port Dalhousie and walking to the park and going on the nickel carousel rides was a part of their heritage. A ride and an ice cream cone spelled happiness to them and didn't cost a fortune. They had their favourite animals and even gave them names.

Where else but here can you take a ride on a Merry Go Round for only $0.05? This attraction is a historic rebuilt Carousel that is now run by the City of St Catharines during the summer months. The carousel itself is beautiful, but the surrounding area is as well. You can spend the day at the beach with your family as it is steps away from the carousel. There are also restaurants and bars nearby. What a great way to spend a summer day!

For a mere nickel you can ride a restored and historically significant carousel. As you go around you can see Lake Ontario. It's worth a stroll to the beach and over to the pier. Get an ice cream and have a perfect day.
