If you like beer even a little bit visit this place. Apart from the fact that its set in a great historical site which is cool to walk around, the brewery tour is cheap, short and interesting. The tours start from 10 dollars and for that you get a sample at the start one at the end and a nice... More

We were happened across the brewery after becoming disenchanted with how expensive the toronto sights were. It was the perfect cure. We paid $15 each which included the tour and one six pack per ticket (which is a good deal considering how much a six pack costs). We turned up and were put on the next tour 10mins later. We... More

I paid $10 for this tour. I ended up getting 5 more free beers on the trip. Tour guide was pretty informative and easy on the eyes (not a bad thing to have on the beer tour). Nice way to kick off the night if you plan on some nightlife or pubs afterwards. Consider it an educational pubcrawl. I'd do... More

Great time the tour is only worth $10 in a great location close to the CN tower and close to the ferry that can take you to Toronto islands. The staff is friendly and the free samples are bigger than you think. Be careful you may get drunk.

Great way to spend an hour. For 10 buck, you get a souvenir samples of beer and a full bottle of beer! Fun tour to do with friends or family!

I had scheduled a reservation on line for my husband and I to take a tour. We got to Steam Whistle about 1 hour early and asked if we could go on an earlier tour. We talked to Kyle as we came in and he offered to include us in his next tour! The tour was interesting as well as... More

Stumbled upon this microbrewery a couple of blocks after leaving the CN tower. Very pleasant experience, friendly staff, and a beer that currently isn't shipped to the US or eastern Canada, so enjoy it while you can! Personally we thought it was a very good pilsner. We even brought back a couple of six's to enjoy later with a Canadian... More

Again we found the tour of the brewery to hit the spot perfectly between interesting and informative. The guide was friendly but also told us all we wanted to know and created a very relaxed atmosphere. The fact that you can carry a beer around with you made it lots of fun and the present at the end capped it... More

It had potential, but I was very disappointed. The outside exhibits were OK (although I couldn't get to some of them), but I was never able to find indoor exhibits, if there were any. The only door I found open was to a furniture store. There was also (I thought) supposed to be a ride-on train (there were tracks all... More

If you're visiting Toronto this is a fun thing to do. Right at the base of the CN tower in the old CP rail roundhouse where the trains used to be serviced. Part of it is the Steamwhistle Brewery. The samples of their beer start when you walk in and wait for your tour to begin. Then as the tour... More
