Long ride on transit system takes the fun out.Pandas look cute but very sleepy. Most of the other animals also pretty tired and some were almost passed out. Very little info on animals. Just some info at keepers talks,,Walking thru the pavilions pretty tiring on hot days.

My wife and I visited the zoo with our two young children. We knew it was supposed to rain that day so we came prepared. The experience was amazing! Even with the rain , we got to see the majority of the animals , some very private and close up. Very educational for us and the little ones. The new... More

I took my 2 boys (1yr and 3 yr old). We had a fabulous day. We purchased a Zoo Mobile pass and I would highly recommend using the zoo mobile for getting between the different areas it also worked well as a shaded spot for my 1 year old to have his afternoon nap. The panda exhibit was a highlight.... More

These people know how to look after animals. Its quite evident compared to somewhere like Marineland. Entrance fees are quite reasonable but they gouge you on everything else in the park. Good news is you can bring food in with you. Animals well looked after, grounds are clean and employees are friendly. Didnt see all of the animals aka the... More

Toronto Zoo contains a lot of interesting animals to see. Its white lions are unique. Its main drawback is the poor quality of its cafes and restaurants. They need more restaurants to avoid long ques.

I thought being the Toronto Zoo it would be really nice. Looked run down and animals looked in poor condition. A lot of empty exhibits or 1-2 animals to be seen. The highlight was the pandas. That was very cool to see them. Went early and had no wait. Guess the line can get long. Will not be going back... More

Well it is big that is for sure, but there are very few animals on display. I am spoiled being from columbus Ohio, as our zoo is much much better than this one. Really, we saw NO elephants, 1 zebra, 1 lion, 2 tigers, 1 giraffe, well you get the picture. If it weren't for city pass we would never... More

The Zoo is an attraction where you will want to spend a lot of time. We spent a whole afternoon and it wasn't enough!. It has well paved large walking trails to various exhibits. Although the surfaces are flat, be prepared to walk up and down some hills. Accommodation are made for wheelchairs and strollers but some exhibits are not... More
