The Massey Halls history is infinite. Some of the bests of yesteryear have blessed the stage of the Massey to jam out. The tradition continues. I would echoe some of the previous comments about avoiding the upper deck. The floor seats give you the best vantage, and acoustics to experience what massey is all about. I love the venue so...

Very nice old style hall - semi circle with good seating all around. Some seats may be blocked by columns. Sound was very good.
Lovely old historic theatre in Toronto. Has that old charm and houses the great concerts I've seen in the past...just saw Dennis Deyoung: Music of Styx Reopening...my husband loved it...however the original seats I bought we for the sides...you only get to see half the concert...I don't know why the ticket agent told me that the 2 seats I purchased...

It was actually several years ago, but I got to sit on stage to watch Dame Kiri De Kanawa sing. The acoustics were amazing, the architecture a bit too modern for my taste, but the faciilites couldn't be faulted.

Went to Massey Hall for the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds concert. Great atmosphere and the sound was perfect. Seating was awful though.
Want to see a concert the way it's suppose to be seen? There's not a bad seat in the house and the audience always feels like part of the show. One of canada's iconic venues, there isn't an artist who doesn't aspire to play it. How do you get Massey hall? practice practice practice. For all others, buy a ticket....
