My sister and I decided to go to Canada for the day (like the stereotypical Michigan girls we are), and this was top on our to-do list. The tour is very inexpensive, and we were welcomed with a holiday eggnog/whiskey cocktail! On the tour itself, we learned all about the history of Walkerville and Canadian Club (also: Al Capone's link... More

My husband and I had the wonderful experience of being selected as winners of the CC Sharpe magazine contest. I was expecting a sleepy town but was pleasantly surprised with the richness of history CC has to offer, the beautiful intricate details of every room that CC wonderfully maintained plus the graciousness of Tish Marcus, general manager at CC. Shoutouts... More

We were a little late for the 12:00 tour, but we joined a group in progress. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and we highly enjoyed the tour. He even "caught us up" after the others left and let us view the rooms we had missed. The tastings at the end are really good, too! Glad we stopped.

Visited as part of a group tour. Wonderful experience. Guides are excellent, know their stuff. Lots of history but presented in a manner that was interesting & enjoyable. Loved the old building. Brick work, wood trim, lovely tall dark doors. There's even a "speak-easy" where you learn the origin of The Cocktail. Neat!

We were greeted by a lovely lady at the main desk. The price was $7 per person. We toured the gift shop while waiting for the tour to start. We were given a sample of the whiskey with a splash of creme de mint in it. WOW, very yummy. The tour takes approx. 1 1/2 hrs and is full of... More

I arrived at the opening time and I was welcomed by Marc, the tour guide. He offered me a private visit of the beautiful Canadian Club building. A 2 hours visit though the History of the company and a nice tasting of a selection of the Canadian Club whiskies. Don't miss to visit the Canadian Club Heritage Building, it is... More

We go here every year or so when there is an event or when we have visitors. The entry fee is reasonable and the history is fabulous. You don't have to be a fan of the drink; you get history, architecture, scenic views. It's also handy to have parking right across the street with a designated crosswalk. I also found... More

We have taken this tour twice now, and enjoyed it immensely each time. The history of the building and the Hiram Walker family is fascinating, and the building is beautiful...the Whisky is pretty good too.

Took the noon tour. Being right after Christmas it was decorated for the holidays. Very cherry and the music playing in the background made it festive. Cost was $6 and lasted about 1 1/2 hours. Fun to hear of Hiram Walker's rise in business and his starting of Walkerville. Obviously the bootlegging stories were cool as well. Now, for what... More
