The house has an interesting history. Fully decorated and furnished to reflect the homes of that day. It is down by the water so a great place to visit if you are walking the shore.

Beaconfield house is vey pretty inside and out, unfortunately, none of the original furniture remains. Still, it is worth seeing, and then go for a walk along the coast.

Easy to access from downtown so no worries about parking (there is however parking across the street). This is also a good base from which to undertake the 1.5 km walk of the Victoria Park Boardwalk (on the Boardwalk,... More

The tour was very worthwhile. The house has amazing crown moldings and the finishes are very decorative. The tour guide was very informative and allowed us to take our time.
