If I understand correctly, Mount Royal Cemetery is the largest cemetery in North America. It's seriously massive and old. You can drive through the cemetery starting from the top of the mountain and working your way down towards Rue Cote-Des-Neiges.

Definitely a beautiful cemetery. Great bike/walking paths to choose from, and the cemetery is always quiet, so you could even go here to do some thinking on your own. Of course, it is still a cemetery, so if you're not comfortable with those things, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you don't really mind, it is definitely a beautiful place.
Peaceful spot on top of a mountain surround by a park in the middle of a metropole. Many local celebrities and extremely beautiful statues can be found resting quietly under the numerous old and majestic trees.
Some of Canada's most famous people are buried here. Maurice Richard's monument a few feet away from former Mayor Jean Drapeau.
It's a very organized and big cemetery. Nothing very special about it, but worth a quick stop. The website shows the places that some famous people are buried.
Extremely calm and quiet, despite being in the center of downtown. Very serene and peaceful if you're looking for a nice walk and reflection.
Probably would have been a nicer place to visit in the spring or summer. Very cold, and difficult to navigate in a wheelchair.
Quiet, obviously. go and walk. Many tress, well maintained in most areas. Statues and monuments are great; many sculptures. nice paths to stroll aound. We saw many couples walking and talking. Tiome for thinking. Nice tall tress.
It's a beautiful cemetary with military and very old graves. Very big, and worth a visit. Just try not to get lost and locked in there at night! :P
I didn't realize Mount Royal and Cote de Neige were not the same cemetery. One is side by side to the other. It entrance is magestic and the monuments are as great to discover as art in a museum.
