We have visited a lot of gardens and these go to the top of the list. Equally beautiful and informative and not crowded which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.

Hit the Chinese Garden whilst you are there. The bundled ticket can get you into the Insectarium, Biodome and Planetarium (with the latter two well worth it). Great place to walk and take in the Olympic views.

The gardens are very large and noted for the incredible plant and flower sculptures. Very beautiful and extremely photographic. easy to get to from the Metro. While you are there stop by the Bio Dome.

We went here on the high recommendation of everyone we talked to, but not sure if it would meet the hype. It did, and more. It is so large and well done that you forget that you are in a city, or even that the surroundings are so highly orchestrated. You just get lost in it. We were near the... More

We've been to many gardens in different countries and this was the best. Loved the creative works, I'm sure they will be even better as the flowers grow. The gardens inside were very nice. The variety of peonies in bloom was amazing. Completely worth the admission price, a place like this cost a lot to maintain.

The Asian gardens are so peaceful that my husband took a nap stretched out on a bench in the Japanese area, and awoke very happy. The mosaic super botanicals were under construction when we visited, which was very interesting to see.

Lovely afternoon out, bit dear for admission compared to other Botanics that w have visited. Greenhouses are very good with plenty of variety.

I love visiting gardens, unfortunately I didn't get to walk but a small portion. There is a lot to see. The day we were there was the first sunny day on our trip to Canada. It had been quite chilly so my guess is that everything wasn't in full or close to bloom. Despite that, it was still very pretty.... More

Maybe it was the fact that the weather was a little grey and cool, so being in these amazing greenhouses was extra special. But I'm sure they are spectacular any time of year...the amount of work done to create and maintain these gardens is commendable. I loved every minute of my visit.

If you really want to see everything they have to offer, plan to spend the whole day. We very much enjoyed our visit. We would have stayed longer than the almost 4 hours we were there, if it were not for the fact the restaurant was closed and we were hungry. Next time I would bring a picnic lunch as... More
