Our hotel room faced the church and we were called to Sunday services by the ringing church bells. We were welcomed by the parishoners and enjoyed the service given in both english and french. Very beautiful sanctuary.

Notre Dame, half a block away is all about white and gold, This church is all about woods and muted colors. They are both interesting and inspiring places, but they are amazingly different from each other.
I've visited Quebec City a number of times, and Holy Trinity Cathedral has become my home away from home for church. The services are lovely. The people have always been warm and friendly sharing coffee or going out to eat afterwards. I attended a Christmas pageant a few years ago, and it was everything a Christmas pageant should be.

There are many churches and cathedrals in Old Quebec. This one will not disappoint! It is yet another wonderful attraction of this part of the city.
Located across the street from the Frontenac, the simplicity of the church makes it interesting to visit. If you are going to be in this area of old Quebec stop in and check out the interior.
The cathedral itself was pleasant, old and peaceful, but what I really enjoyed were the booths of gallery-quality hand-made jewelry, cloth, wood etc. Very inventive and charming, much nicer than in the shops. Merci!

The interior is splendid: pragmatic woodwork, polychromatic stained glass, and white curved walls all peppered with historical highlights. This is a pretty church worth a visit if you enjoy this sort of thing. I believe it was the first Anglican church set up outside of the British Isles. They have a gift shop and offers tours (though I don't think they are offered during the off season).
