We visited "Sandtraps Restaurant" at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club for the Mother's Day Brunch in May 2013. I called to make a reservation, I recommend doing the same. The spread was quite impressive. From grilled shrimp, eggs benedict, bacon/sausages/scrambled eggs, to cooked ham and prime rib, cheese and crackers, salads, pickles and desserts, the brunch was quite good.... More

The patio at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club has amazing views and is a great alternative to downtown brunch/lunch/dinner dining. We don't really like being inside the dining room as it is big and feels more like a hall than a restaurant but we really enjoy having a few beer and burgers or fish and chips or a stirfry... More

Nice modest course a little expensive for such a course. Pleasant people and the course was well maintained.

Beautiful setting and a fair course, not full of tricked up holes.

We stopped here a few days ago and had the pleasure of eating lunch in their Sandtraps restaurant. We split an order of fish and chips, and the battered cod almost melts in your mouth. mmmmmm. We opted to sit out on the deck, where the view is great. A little off the beaten path, but worth making the effort... More

We hired a curling sheet for an hour and had an introduction to curling technique as none of us had curled before. We were staying in Canmore and wanted to try the different winter activities available. The curling club was a great way to spend a morning. John Chiarelli was so welcoming and helpful with lots of information about curling.... More
