I'm from the U.S and visited for the Aug. long weekend. I gave the low rating because of the crowded conditions and not enough bathroom facilities. It is a beautiful beach in a lovely little town but seems to have been taken over by out of towners. I'm told they spend no money in the town and leave behind garbage.... More

This beach was beautiful to walk along in the winter. Looking out onto the water with the lighthouse in the distance was a great photo-op.

Wide, sandy beach leading into a gently shelving warm Lake Ontario. Particularly pleasant during the week when it is less crowded.

The beach in Cobourg has a lot to offer. There is a great campground right at the beach which is very popular and lots to do. Bands and other activities happen throughout the week at the bandshell.
