Beautiful, long,sandy beach in the centre of town. Great promenade. Lots of activities throughout the summer. Sand castle competition, beach volleyball and sunbathing. Ideal for families.

It was my first time, last summer and i went with my sister and 6 kids...we had a great time and enjoyed the scenery immensely...
they had Sand Castle competition goin on that was crazy awesome.
i recommend anyone with kids or to with your girlfriends...or the boys and just hang out, take in the Sun,,,the Water and of course...

I'm from the U.S and visited for the Aug. long weekend. I gave the low rating because of the crowded conditions and not enough bathroom facilities. It is a beautiful beach in a lovely little town but seems to have been taken over by out of towners. I'm told they spend no money in the town and leave behind garbage....

This beach was beautiful to walk along in the winter. Looking out onto the water with the lighthouse in the distance was a great photo-op.
Wide, sandy beach leading into a gently shelving warm Lake Ontario. Particularly pleasant during the week when it is less crowded.
The beach in Cobourg has a lot to offer. There is a great campground right at the beach which is very popular and lots to do. Bands and other activities happen throughout the week at the bandshell.
