Every restaurant we tried was fantastic. Very pretty with all the historic buildings. Weather was +30 every day in early May 2013

A whole street of Heritage (1899) buildings restored and used for commercial venues. About 8 blocks of glorious shopping and eating.
I'd take Baker St over Robson or Granville any day. It has tons of great boutique shops and all the great food you'd expect from a city 10 times it's size.
Fabulous little shops! It's a treat to go somewhere and find all independent stores with unique merchandise. No boring chain stores on this street!
Just a beautiful street! So many unique shops and very pleasant people. So laid back and relaxing. There is so much history in Nelson and old buildings to view and admire. This one of my favorite things to do in Nelson, walk up and down Baker Street! A must for anyone visiting Nelson.

Great Place to Walk, many quaint shops and things to see. Kids loved the old fashioned candy store and we loved the coffee shops. Also the only RBC in the Valley!
I have only been to Nelson a couple of times when the sun has been out, but now with the weather channel you can check the week weather and make it there during the sun period. Walking down Baker Street is like old town with very modern facilities. The shops are very different from other towns, many hand crafted items...
