Spectacular country walk though woodland by the river, along the bed of of a former railway. Great views of the river and some brilliant water falls, flat walking and scenery to rival lots of other places. Car parking is out in the country so leave no valuables in your vehicle. A good afternoon out.

A great stop over to stretch the legs and walk the dog. Salmon run in the river in the fall and is fun to have the kids cheer them on as they head upstream in the rushing water.

These historic tunnels carried the Kettle Valley Railroad through the Coquihalla Pass a century ago. Now it is a walking and cycling trail. The tunnels are beside the raging river and under towering cliffs. Spectacular - well worth a stop when traveling Highway 5 (Coquihalla).

The engineering behind these tunnels is truly amazing. The scenery was equally so. Will visit again!
