The road to this waterfall is beautiful enough, but this waterfall needs to be seen! Road and path are very well maintained, even in the winter.... there will be snow!
Simply amazing and only a short walk from the parking area. We met a group of guys who were "surveying" it as one of their number climbs it when frozen in the winter....... nutcase or what. You can see clips on YouTube.
Wow! Worth the trip. We spent 3 days camping in Clearwater and on our way back we stop there. It couldn't finish the trip in a better way! It's so impressive and gorgeous! The view is incredible, we spent like 45 minutes just taking pictures and looking at the falls! If you don't wanna hike it and still have a... More
Bring your rain gear and you can walk under the waterfall. It is a rush. You will get soaked from every direction so be prepared if you go!
Visited the provincial park. The Park has been opened because of these falls. There are for sure impressive. The height is 135m and the trail is indeed very easy to walk. From the parkway to the falls = 5 mins. If you are in the neighborhood then you have to check this fall! 4th largest fall of Canada

It's a short walk from car park on well maintained trails. Useful information boards by viewpoint on formation. I'd would recommend thinking of later in day for visits in sept/October,... More
Unlike many falls access is wheelchair, elderly or young person friendly. The falls are lovely and there are long walking tracks if it takes your fancy. I would love to be able to go back at different times of the year, especially winter.
We were staying at the Helmcken Lodge just down the road so this made visiting the falls really easy. Even if you are not staying in Clearwater, this is a must see feature as the falls are really amazing.
You may well know all the pictures of a sunny waterfall with the rainbow. But you should visit the Helmcken Falls when clouds hide the fall and you hear the water blasting into the deep. The moment when the mist disappears step by step and release the view to the waterfall. I have only seen a few locations in my... More
