These gardens are really beautiful in a very nice location close to the sea.Hilly so not very suitable for people with walking difficulty. Lots to see . The entry charge includes a years revisit. Pity I live so far away as I would go each week.

There are many gardens that aim to be like Trebah - none come near. It is always a delight but in May it is at its best with the azaleas in full flower and the gunnera popping up like alien invaders. Oh, and on no account miss the marginal plants by the stream in the top western corner. For my... More

Just love visiting Trebah, the gardens are beautiful at all times of the year, it's open every day and there us always something to see. I love the beautiful water garden. The new theatre is going to be fantastic when it opens next year. Best if all a really good cafe with reasonably priced food of good quality.

We had a family day at Trebah in May 2013. The welcome was very warm and friendly and the attitude of the team was fantastic. Judy on reception and Jonathan were both lovely. Jonathan very calmly helped mum with the electric buggy and under his hands she was then much more confident around the gardens. The gardens looked stunning with... More

This private garden was immaculately planted to generate stunning vistas and achieves it all while retaining a sense of informality and 'naturalness' (it is anything but!). In the Spring when the colours are fresh, the combination of foliages and the leaf colours are just perfection. The highlight for many will be the water garden which runs a long distance down... Fresh, imaginative and good value. Light lunches, particularly salads are lovely: fish cakes nice too!

Trebah Garden lies in a valley which drops down the hillside to the estuary of the River Helford and a small beach. It's quite a steep walk down but well worth the effort of getting back up again. We went in May 2013 when most plants throughout the UK were late, but the colour of the rhododendrons was magnificent. There... More

Tickets at £8.00 is very good, especially as they are valid for a week. Our first visit ended early with the heavens opening, but we were able to go back two days later and enjoy the gardens in glorious sunshine. Plenty to keep us interested for several hours, the beach at the bottom of the gardens was the icing on... More

I make a point of visiting gardens in South West England and garden has an amazing selection of exotic plants set in a valley sloping down to the Helford estuary. The cafeteria has ecellent food, which is freshly prepaired.

We visited the gardens on May bank holiday Monday and although the sea mist kept the temperature down the beauty and tranquility of the gardens made a pleasant escape from the usual bank holiday traffic madness. The gunnera plantation is just starting to sprout so in a few weeks it will produce a fabulous tropical forest effect, the bamboo maze is pretty...
